1. Overview

Work42 is a job platform operated by audoxsoft from No. 5/746, Pinjamadai, Vadakkalur (PO), Annur, Coimbatore - 641653, Tamil Nadu, India. In this policy, “Work42”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to audoxsoft and the Work42 platform.

This policy is written with reference to applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”), together with rules brought into force from time to time. Some provisions of the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 have staggered commencement dates.

2. Personal data we collect

Do not upload Aadhaar numbers, PAN details, bank account details, card data, passwords, OTPs or unrelated sensitive documents to your public profile or resume. If a verified workflow requires additional information, we will explain why before collecting it.

3. How we use personal data

  • create and maintain your Work42 account;
  • display candidate profiles to employers according to your settings;
  • help candidates search for and apply to jobs;
  • allow employers to publish and manage job postings;
  • communicate service, support, safety and policy updates;
  • detect spam, impersonation, fraud, abuse and security incidents;
  • comply with lawful requests and applicable legal obligations; and
  • improve the platform using aggregated or de-identified insights where appropriate.

Where consent is required, we will request it through a clear notice and provide a way to withdraw it. Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed lawfully.

4. When we share data

We may share personal data with employers when you apply for a role or make your profile discoverable; with vendors that provide hosting, security, communications or support services under appropriate obligations; and with regulators, courts, law-enforcement agencies or other authorities where required by law. We may share data during a business reorganisation subject to appropriate safeguards.

Employers process candidate information for their own recruitment purposes and should provide their own privacy information where applicable. Work42 does not sell personal data.

5. Retention and security

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the stated purpose, account operation, dispute handling, fraud prevention and applicable legal requirements. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong password and report suspicious activity promptly.

6. Children

Work42 is intended for people who are at least 18 years old. Please do not create an account or submit personal data if you are under 18. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal data.

7. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law and the commencement of relevant provisions, you may ask us to provide information about processing, correct or update inaccurate data, erase data that is no longer required, withdraw consent, or address a grievance. You may also nominate another individual to exercise applicable rights in the event of death or incapacity.

To protect your account, we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
